From Manu, in response to a tweet of mine about being called “cuchi” for the first time here in Argentina. To my knowledge, anyway.
Cuchi:
Cuchi or chuchi is a very popular way of saying “my love,” used always between lovers, family or even as a cheesy pick up line between strangers in the streets.
Cuchi is a loving word very much used in all homes between husbands and wives, boyfriends, couples or strangers that want to say in a nice and sweet way “you are niiiceeee”…
In the latter example it can be augmented by a long whistle.

Word of the week: Cuchi
